Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance GmbH is a German company and one of the six Heavy Aircraft Maintenance bases of PAML Group. We carry out maintenance on Ryanair’s entire fleet of the New Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft at our hangar facility located at Hahn Airport, Germany.

Sheet Metal Workers – Join Our Team in Hahn, Germany

The Role and Responsibilities of a Sheet Metal Worker

Perform structural repairs and part replacements on Boeing 737-800 aircraft in compliance with approved maintenance manuals and regulatory standards
Carry out metal assembly tasks including cutting, filing, drilling, countersinking, fitting, shimming, adjusting, clamping, bolting, reaming, riveting, and bucking.
Operate standard tools and equipment such as bending machines, drills, and grinders.
Work in accordance with company policies, procedures, and the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
Identify and implement effective repair solutions using the Structural Repair Manual (SRM).
Complete both routine and non-routine aircraft structural tasks with a focus on quality and compliance.
Ensure accurate completion and certification of aircraft documentation in line with MOE and company procedures.

Your profile

Requirements

Good knowledge of the materials used in aviation
Manual skills and precision, attention to detail
Knowledge of technical drawing
Willing to work shifts
Applicants must have a valid EU/EEA passport with the unrestricted right to live and work in the European Union
Interpersonal and intercultural skills
A valid EU driver's license
Good knowledge of English (written and spoken) / German would be an advantage and computer skills (MS Office)
Preferably holds a German security clearance in accordance with § 7 of German Aviation Security regulations.
