Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance GmbH is a German company and one of the six Heavy Aircraft Maintenance bases of PAML Group. We carry out maintenance on Ryanair’s entire fleet of the New Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft at our hangar facility located at Hahn Airport, Germany.

Opportunity for Growth 
As we continue to expand, we are happy to offer an exciting opportunity for an Aircraft Mechanic Trainee to join our 12-week intensive training program at one of our maintenance facilities with multiple intakes throughout 2026. This program is designed for individuals who are eager to develop their technical skills in a professional environment and take the first step towards a long term career in aircraft ​maintenance.

***Successful candidates will have the opportunity to upskill and pursue a career as a licensed Aircraft Engineer, earning up to € 80K per year. 

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Carrying out maintenance tasks as required
  • Maintaining a high standard of work in all tasks
  • Completing the appropriate documentation
  • Complying with all company procedures, policies, regulations, and MOE
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
  • Ensuring adherence to the company's Health and Safety policy
  • Performing any other tasks as directed by the Supervisor/Manager

Your profile
Requirements   
  • Strong willingness to learn, positive attitude and enthusiasm in aviation
  • Ability to work effectively and adapt in a fast changing environment
  • Good knowledge of English (written and spoken); German is an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills
  • Degree or diploma from a related field such as engineering or maintenance is desirable
  • Prior hands-on experience in engineering or aircraft maintenance is desirable
  • CV submitted in English
  • Birthdate must be on CV
  • Languages must be on CV
  • Applicants must have the unrestricted right to live and work in the European Union and will only be accepted if they pass a full German security background check — Zuverlässigkeitsüberprüfung (ZÜP)
